Six of them amount to being 500 calories.  Even though you are eating cookies all day you are still eating a very low calorie diet of 800 calories in the end.

The Chicken Soup Diet

This is a fad diet but as far as they go it is very healthy. You can find the recipe for this posted online.  The soup contains parsnips, celery, turnip cayenne pepper, collard greens, broccoli, carrots and chicken broth.

On this diet you are allowed one good low-cal breakfast a day. A good example would be 1 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt combined with half a cup of fruit salad that is then sprinkled with wheat germ.

The Hollywood Diet

This is a liquid diet that requires you fast all day on a juice blend. This juice blend is marketed commercially as the Hollywood diet but it is cheaper to make your own at home.

  • 4 Tables. honey
  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 apples peeled and sliced

The Lazy Diet

This weight loss plan is meant to accommodate the person who eats a bit of junk food or uses the microwave a lot. It also suits dieters that are not that fond of vegetables.

So, for lunch you might have a meal replacement bar. For lunch you can have a Lean Cuisine meal and one slice of cheese. For dinner our can have a Quarter Pounder from MacDonald’s along with a side salad.

On another day you might have MCDonalds Fruit and Yogurt Parfait with granola and for lunch you might have a small hamburger with no mayo. For dinner you can have a Lean Cuisine Dinner.

On another day you might have a small omelet made with egg whites for breakfast, a big peanut butter and banana sandwich for lunch and a stir fried chicken and vegetables for dinner.

The Metabolism Diet

This diet is supposed to kick start your metabolism.  You must drink at least four glasses of water or diet soda per day.

No condiments are allowed except for herbs, salt, pepper, lemon and vinegar. You are also allowed soy sauce, Worcestershire, mustard and ketchup.

This is a diet that is super low in calories.  For instance, on Day 1 you can have black coffee or tea for breakfast. For lunch you can have 2 hard boiled eggs and 1 cup of cooked spinach. For dinner you can have 1 lettuce and celery salad and 1 six ounce slab of steak.

Tips for Losing More Weight

To make sure you lose as much weight as possible you should also use the following tricks for quick weight loss –

Brush your teeth after every meal as it makes the idea of dieting much less stressful.  When your teeth are squeaky clean you feel much less like cheating on your diet.

If you get too hungry chew gum. It can keep you from nibbling on unhealthy snacks.

Drink at least one glass of water or milk with your meal so that you feel fuller and are not tempted to eat more calories than you are allowed.

Eat a lot of soup. Soup fills you up and it can be quite healthy. Make it from scratch you or buy the types of canned soups that have low sodium advertised on their labels.
